Below you will find some helpful information about several of our ministries at Monterey Bay Christian Center. Just read through any of the sections and then give us a call or send us an email for more information!  You'll also find more ways to connect by visiting our Bible Study Groups page.

  • Children

MBCC is a place for kids of all ages to have fun, grow in the Lord and in their relationships with other people! All of our children's rooms are located on our ground floor and a parent video monitor is located in our church lobby.

Nursery (0-2):  Providing love and care for the little ones while Mom and Dad enjoy the service.

Kids (PK through 5th grade): Our kids remain with their parents in the sanctuary for praise & worship and then are dismissed during the announcements to join Pastor Jen and her team for Kids Church. They have a great time with games, music and a bible lesson. If you want more information about this ministry, let us know.

Screening: All of our volunteers who work with minors have undergone background screening to ensure the safety of the children.

  • Youth

Get connected with the Jr High and High School ministry of Monterey Bay Christian Center. We are students and adult leaders on a mission of hope and everything we do is focused around that mission. Our heart is to see young people rise up to influence their generation and use their God given potential to become everything He is calling them to be.

All students from 6th to 12th grade are invited to join us for our connect groups and activity nights! We meet Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the Youth Room, located on our MBCS school campus. There are many other events throughout the year for our youth to participate in, such as Summer Camp or a missions trip, Summer Fundays, Fine Arts Festival, Youth Convention, bonfires at the beach, lock-ins and all kinds of other stuff that are so much fun. Check it out!

  • Young Adults - servants of all (18+)

We are a team of young adults willing to serve and love just as Jesus did in his time here on earth.  We gather every Wednesday at 6:30p to have fellowship, encourage one another, to pray for one another, and most importantly to hear the word of God.  Jesus said, “Whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”  So, because we believe in Jesus these signs will accompany those who believe: “In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”  - Mark 16:17-18

  • Women's ministry

Designed for women of all ages, we get together bi-monthly on the first Saturday for fellowship and outreach opportunities.  Other months, we collect items for the local food pantry and other surrounding ministries.  We would love to get to know you, so send us an email for information about our next event.

  • Men's Ministry

We are a group of men who enjoy time together.  We meet on the last Saturday of each month at 8:30am for prayer and breakfast.  You'll also find us every Monday at 6pm as we dig into God's Word.

  • Seasoned Saints - ages 55+

“Seasoned Saints” is designed for our senior citizens. They are currently every Thursday morning at 10:00am, usually for breakfast and a devotional or an occasional workshop. This group of wonderful people love having fun, they continue to grow in the Lord and love to serve our church. They are a tremendous blessing and would love for you to get connected!

Just send us an email for more information!

  • Worship & Creative Arts

We are created in the image of a creative God and He gave gifts to each of us. This powerful truth of Scripture is the basis of what we do as the Worship and Creative Arts Ministry at MBCC. This is open to anyone who is passionate and skilled, wanting to use their gifts and talents to worship God.

We would love for you to join us! If you are interested in partnering with this great team or just want to learn more about MBCC's Worship and Creative Arts Ministry, please contact Isai Ogarrio.
